Throughout her residency training, Dr. Garrana continued her own research on the clinical effects of LASIK and PRK on the cornea, and vision. The impressive nature of her research and her stellar academic record earned her acceptance into the prestigious Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. There, she received subspecialty training in Cornea and Refractive Surgery from world-renowned ophthalmologists. Throughout her years of training, she was the recipient of many honors, and commendations for her research contributions.
Dr Garrana is a well-rounded ophthalmologist who has performed hundreds corneal transplants, and anterior segment reconstruction procedures, as well as hundreds of small incision cataract surgery under topical anesthesia. Dr. Garrana consults on various anterior segment problems, and various surgical complications.
