Denise Ryan, MS in Forensic Science

Denise Ryan, MS in Forensic Science is the Deputy Director for Research at the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Program and Research Center (WRESP-RC). She interacts with a unique patient population working on exciting studies examining advanced technology to enhance Warfighter vision in terms of visual quality and performance in challenging environments.

In addition to investigating vision enhancement, she’s had the opportunity to work on combat ocular trauma studies in an effort to gain an understanding of the broad spectrum of eye injuries sustained in combat.

The WRESP-RC, continues to expand its interests in vision optimization, dry eye, visual performance, patient reported outcomes, quality of vision/ quality of life, and addressing knowledge gaps in combat ocular trauma.
