Mike Stuntz, MD is in Private Practice in Florida, USA. Under the tutelage of former RSA president Dr. Lance Kugler, Dr Stuntz gained solid refractive surgery experience during his residency at The University of Nebraska Medical Center. His career was sparked during numerous hours of refractive surgery training, observing firsthand the impact on the lives of patients and their often unrestrained joy at the improvement of their vision. He is excited about providing this quality of care to a wide range of patients.

A former golf professional, Dr. Stuntz has always enjoyed helping others improve at their chosen passion. His transition to medicine seemed a natural progression that allowed him the chance to impact an even broader range of his patients’ day to day activities.
Dr. Stuntz is a Council Bluffs, Iowa native and attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln for undergraduate coursework. He graduated from The Ohio State University Wexner College of Medicine and completed both his medical internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha where he served as Chief Resident. His current interest lies in furthering the effectiveness of presbyopia treatment with extended depth of field intraocular lenses and he looks forward to participating in upcoming clinical trials of these devices.
Dr. Stuntz, his wife Natalie along with their 3 children enjoy many outdoor activities and the family continues to explore its burgeoning interest in the game of golf at his very subtle suggestion.
