Andrew E. Holzman, MD FACS is the CEO/owner and Medical Director of Holzman Laser Vision, a refractive surgery practice with two locations in the DC Metro Area. The main office is located in Tysons Corner, Virginia and there is a secondary consult and laser center site in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Dr Holzman has been practicing refractive surgery for close to 30 years, as he began doing these procedures shortly after completing his Corneal Surgery Fellowship at Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Institute.
After spending over 15 years as the Medical Director of a corporate laser eye center, he then opened his own state of the art facility. He has grown his business over the years with a reputation for caution and caring, while providing the highest level of refractive outcomes. He is well known in the community for his unique and personalized approach, as well as his numerous protocols designed to reduce post operative complications. Dr Holzman has a special focus and interest in reducing patient fear and in making the experience of having refractive procedures pleasant and comfortable. For these reasons, Dr Holzman is frequently the choice of over 200 referring eye care providers for their patients and for themselves. Dr Holzman also routinely performs refractive surgery on professional athletes and local celebrities.

His new Tysons Corner laser center is truly a special facility for patients, staff and Doctors. There is an Office-Based refractive cataract operating room, so Lens-based procedures are done without the need for patients to go to an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr Holzman’s personal touches truly complement his experienced team of loyal technicians and Optometrists that work there. His team is outstanding. Dr Holzman has been affiliated with both Georgetown University Medical Center and the University of Virginia for many years. He enjoys teaching residents the ins and outs of successful patient care, as well as his meticulous approach to the surgical procedures.
Dr Holzman is married to Nancy and they have two children, Rachel and Daniel. He recently became a proud grandfather also and he loves family time. He also enjoys spending his free time in the great outdoors. Cycling and hiking are his two favorite activities, and he spends a great deal of time playing with his two Golden Retrievers, Charlie and Tucker. Dr Holzman is also an avid sports fan and loves rooting for his favorite college and professional teams.
