Douglas T. Edwards, MD earned his Medical Degree from the University of Iowa Medical School in Iowa City, IA, in 1999 and finished his internship at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI, the following year. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Mayo Clinic Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, MN, in 2003.
In addition to scoring in the top 3% on his board exams, Dr. Edwards has performed thousands of eye surgeries with an emphasis on cataract and refractive surgery. He enjoys collaborating with his patients to ensure the right technology is matched to his patient’s unique lifestyles. Outside of medicine, Dr. Edwards enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors.
