Nicholas Lancaster, MD

Nicholas Lancaster, MD is a board-certified ophthalmic surgeon who specializes in refractive eye surgery and Visian ICL surgery. Dr. Lancaster is an exceptionally talented surgeon, who is dedicated to providing the best quality vision to his patients by using the highest quality surgical devices and the latest technology.

Dr. Lancaster received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, followed by his Doctorate of Medicine with Honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine. His residency in ophthalmology was completed at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, where he cared for our nations warriors upon their return from combat. The US military is the highest volume provider of refractive surgery in the US. During his years in the military he has performed thousands of refractive surgeries, including on pilots and sharpshooters, allowing them to have clear vision without glasses. He was the first military ophthalmologist to implant the Visian Toric ICL in Texas.

Dr. Lancaster is currently the Chief of Ophthalmology at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, as well as refractive eye surgeon at Sharpe-Vision in Austin, TX. He lives in Georgetown with his wife and 3 children.
