Peter Maris, Jr. is dual-fellowship trained in cornea surgery and glaucoma surgery. He has published in both the glaucoma literature and cornea literature, with special interest in corneal transplant rejection and the use of glaucoma shunts. His practice strives to achieve the most favorable cornea-based and lens-based refractive outcomes. He has been practicing ophthalmology since 2006, serving the patients of Nassau and Suffolk counties and Queens.
In addition, Dr. Maris serves as a Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
