Carter Tisdale, MD is a senior Ophthalmology resident at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) residency program in San Antonio, TX. He is also an active duty Air Force physician who previously served in the Middle East as a Flight Surgeon.

Dr. Tisdale graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Minor in Spanish. He graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, earning membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He was the Chief Resident of the SAUSHEC Ophthalmology program in San Antonio, TX, while on active duty as an Air Force physician.

Dr. Tisdale enjoys running, traveling, reading, and keeping up with SEC college sports–especially the Auburn Tigers!
