Jennifer L. Wu, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist, cornea specialist, and refractive surgeon based in Costa Mesa, California. As the Founder and Medical Director of One EyeCare LASIK, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve clear, lasting vision through advanced vision correction procedures, including LASIK, SMILE Pro, EVO ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens), refractive lens exchange (RLE), and corneal treatments for keratoconus.
Dr. Wu’s passion for ophthalmology stems from the transformative impact of restoring sight. In 2024, she became the first female surgeon in the United States to perform SMILE Pro laser vision correction using the VISUMAX 800 platform. Dr. Wu earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Yale College and her Doctor of Medicine from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Doheny Eye Institute–Los Angeles General Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Doheny Eye Institute–University of Southern California.
