Originally from the Salt Lake Valley, Dr Goerlitz-Jessen received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. He and his family then moved East as he completed medical school and internship in Pennsylvania followed by ophthalmology residency training at Duke University. Prior to joining Glacier Eye Clinic in 2021, Dr Goerlitz-Jessen spent a year in Minneapolis for additional specialty training in corneal transplantation, refractive surgery (LASIK and PRK), and complex anterior segment surgery with Minnesota Eye Consultants.
Dr Goerlitz-Jessen, his wife Jena, and their four boys enjoy sports, outdoor activities, travel, and food. They are thrilled to be back in the Mountain West and look forward to immersing themselves in the community here in the Flathead Valley.
