Sezer Hacıağaoğlu, MD is an assistant professor at Medipol Mega Üniversite Hastanesi in Bağcılar/İstanbul Turkey, while also completing an ophthalmology fellowship with Aylin Kılıç, MD in the refractive surgery unit.
Dr. Hacıağaoğlu performs a variety of vision correction procedures, including PRK, LASIK, as well as cataract surgery since the second year of my assistantship. Dr Hacıağaoğlu biggest motivation is to provide patients with better vision quality so they can become independent of glasses/contact lenses.
Dr. Hacıağaoğlu graduated from Çukurova University in 2012 where he earned his degree as a medical doctor and worked as an assistant ophthalmologist at Marmara University from 2013 until 2017. He then worked as an independent ophthalmologist at Haydarpaşa Sultan Abdülhamid Han Training and Research Hospital from 2017 until 2019after which time he moved to Medipol University where he has been working since 2019. Dr. Hacıağaoğlu main areas of interest are cataract and refractive surgery, keratoconus and other ectatic corneal diseases, dry eye and ocular surface disorders. Like all the members of this team, I want to have both a surgical and an academic career in cataract and refractive surgery.
Dr. Hacıağaoğlu is married to a family doctor at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Şehir Hastanesi. He and his wife have a 4 year old son. Like all the members of this team, Dr. Hacıağaoğlu strives to enjoy both a surgical and an academic career in cataract and refractive surgery.
