Nima Noordeh, MD, MSc, FRCSC

Nima Noordeh, MD, MSc, FRCSC, is a lecturer at the University of Toronto, Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a refractive and cataract surgeon, serving patients in the Greater Toronto Area. His other areas of interest include comprehensive ophthalmology and diseases of the retina. He has completed over 10,000 ocular surgeries.

Dr. Noordeh’s mission is to improve the quality of life of those in his community by enhancing their vision. Dr. Noordeh is dedicated to giving his patients the best care possible using the most advanced technologies at his disposal.

Dr. Noordeh completed his Ophthalmology Residency training at the University of Ottawa, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the University of Ottawa and has pursued a Medical Retina Fellowship at Queens University. Dr. Noordeh is board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Canadian Ophthalmology Society, and the Ontario Medical Association.

Outside of ophthalmology Dr. Noordeh enjoys spending his time with his wife, travelling, spending time outdoors, and playing sports such as tennis and basketball.
