Bradley Sifrig, MD

Bradley Sifrig, MD is a current ophthalmology resident at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Sifrig grew up in the small town of Saint Joseph, Michigan before moving to warmer climates to get his undergraduate degree in Biology at Florida Gulf Coast University. He continued his education at the University of Florida College of Medicine where he graduated number one in his class and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Sifrig stayed in Florida an additional year, completing a Transitional Year internship at Orange Park Medical Center, before moving to the great state of Texas for ophthalmology residency.

Throughout his residency, Dr. Sifrig has maintained a special interest in cataract and refractive surgery. Much of this interest stems from the fact that nearly every member of his immediate family has had refractive surgery. His family members would universally say that the day they had refractive surgery was one of the most impactful days of their lives. Excited by the recent advances in technology available to Ophthalmologists, Dr. Sifrig believes that an excellent refractive outcome will become the standard of care over the course of his career.

When not busy with the resident life, Dr. Sifrig enjoys spending time with family and friends and getting outdoors. He has camped in nearly twenty national parks over the past three years and is always looking for the next amazing hike. On any given Saturday during the Fall, he can be found surrounded by friends rooting on the Gators football team.
