Sapir Karli, MD is a practicing general ophthalmologist in South Florida. Dr. Karli strives to be a multi-faceted ophthalmologist, providing her patients with compassionate personalized medical and surgical care. Dr. Karli provides comprehensive ophthalmologic care, including advanced laser cataract, glaucoma management, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye disease.
Dr. Karli received her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Health: Science, Society, and Policy. She then obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree and a Research Distinction Award from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami Palm Beach Regional Campus, Dr. Karli completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina. There, she served in the leadership role of Chief Resident during her senior year.
Dr. Karli was born in Israel and moved to South Florida with her immediate family in 1999. Since then, Florida has been her home. Dr. Karli enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, boating, jet skiing, and enjoying the Florida beaches.
