Gabriela J Trabal-Yulfo, MD is from San Juan, PR. Dr. Trabal graduated from medical school at the University of Puerto Rico in 2015 and completed a Transitional Year Program at the University Hospital of Puerto Rico between 2015-2016. In 2016, she began her residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Puerto Rico.
Dr. Trabal’s primary interest is pursuing refractive cataract surgery. In June 2019, Dr. Trabal began a Cataract and Refractive Fellowship with Mitch Jackson, MD in Lake Villa, IL. Through this fellowship, Dr. Trabal intends to bring her new surgical experience and technological knowledge to San Juan, PR where she intends to work in private practice.
