This is a premier, advanced-level program for refractive and cataract surgeons alike. Lens refractive surgery has come of age. Modern lenses are excellent, as are diagnostics and surgical technologies. High myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia and all forms of cataract surgery included within the scope of this exciting field.
Lens refractive surgery is a core component of refractive surgery and should be part of every Modern Day Refractive Surgeon's practice. Developing the requisite expertise is not trivial – successful lens refractive surgery requires extreme skill and clinic judgment. Being able to deliver great results goes beyond surgical technique. Strong knowledge of lens optics, patient selection, diagnostics, intraoperative strategy, and postoperative management are all essential. The Course is to be held at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Research Centre in Montreal, QC Canada.
